Ho, ho, holy cow there’s a lot of things going on across Weld and Larimer counties this week! The calendar is packed with a variety of fun and festive events including live holiday concerts, a model train show, wine and chocolate pairing and a beer tour.

Saturday, Nov. 27
1. Head up to Estes Park to enjoy some wine and the beauty of the mountains at the 2021 Estes Park Holiday Wine Festival at 11 a.m. at the Estes Park Events Complex, 1125 Rooftop Way. The event will feature Colorado produced wine, cider and mead along with vendors and artisans. The event is open to all ages. Tickets are $35 per person age 21 and older and include a commemorative wine glass, wine tote and unlimited tastings. Children age 6 and older and non-drinking adults are $5 per person. 2. Hop on the Original Gravity Beer Tour at noon as they take participants to four breweries in Loveland. The four-hour tour will make stops at Berthoud Brewing and heads to Big Beaver Brewing Co., Dratz Brewing Co., Grimm Brothers Brewhouse and other Loveland breweries. Hop on and off the OG tour bus at any brewery. The bus will make its rounds every 60-minutes. 3. Maxline Brewing and 970 Comedy are hosting Maxline Brewing Comedy Showcase at 8 p.m. at 2724 McClelland Drive, Suite 190 in Fort Collins. The show will feature Denver-based comedian Korey David along with Matt Gabriel, Aaron Maslow and Hannah Jones. The free show is open to adults age 21 and older. 4. Sebastian Bach, lead singer of Skid Row, will be performing at 8 p.m. at the Gothic Theatre, 3263 S. Broadway, Englewood. Bands Kaleido and Sin on Six will open for the 80’s rocker. 5. Kick off the holiday season at Cowboy Christmas from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Rancher’s Wife, 604 3rd St., Berthoud. The free event will feature artisan booths, food, miniature horses and ponies to pet and a visit from the big man himself, Santa. All ages are welcome to attend. 6. Work on your holiday gift list at the Colorado Makers Market from noon to 5 p.m. at the Aztlan Community Center, 112 E. Willow St., Fort Collins. More than 90 vendors will be onsite selling handmade gifts, home décor, decorations and more. Entry into the market is free and all ages are welcome to attend. 7. The Rocky Mountain Train Show will be steaming into Loveland at 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Ranch Events Center, 5280 Arena Circle. This family-friendly event will feature over 15 operating trains across 40,000 square feet of tracks along with face painting, more than 200 vendors and clinics on how to set up your own train display. Santa will be making a special appearance to visit with the kids. All ages are welcome to attend the show. Admission is $8 for guests age 12 and older and children age 11 and under are free. 8. Sweet Heart Winery is hosting a wine and chocolate pairing at 5:30 p.m. at 5500 W. Highway 34 in Loveland. The event will pair fine wines with decadent chocolates from The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. The event is open to adults age 21 and older. 9. Enjoy an evening of watercolor painting and wine from 7-9 p.m. at the Union Colony Civic Center, 701 10th Ave. Local artist Colette Pitcher will guide attendees through decorating a festive ornament and greeting card with watercolors. Each guest will receive two glasses of wine, finger foods and a painting kit. The event is open to adults age 21 and older. 10. Winter Painting and Pints is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Big Thompson Brewery, 114 E. 15th St., Loveland and will teach guests how to make a festive snowman decoration. 11. Hope at the Holidays — A Downtown Food and Drink Tour is scheduled for 5 p.m. in downtown Greeley. The four-course progressive dinner will feature food and drinks from Syntax Distillery, Aunt Helen’s Coffee House, Brix Brew and Tap, Luna’s Tacos and Tequila and Stella’s Pinball Arcade and Lounge. Participants will also receive a gift bag and keepsake photo. Proceeds will benefit Live Stories Child and Family Advocacy. The event is open to adults age 21 and older. 12. Enjoy some holiday music at A Christmas with David Archuleta at 7:30 p.m. at the Rialto Theater, 228 E. 4th St., Loveland. 13. The Sundance Steakhouse and Saloon is hosting A Honky Tonk Christmas at 8 p.m. at 2716 E. 17. Fans of the Grateful Dead won’t want to miss Joe Russo’s Almost Dead at 8 p.m at 1stBank Center, 11450 Broomfield Lane, Broomfield. 18. The town of Timnath will be hosting its annual Holiday Lighting Festival at 5:30 p.m. along Old Town at 4100 Main St. The event will feature lots of holiday lights, local musicians, carriage rides, treats and food trucks, photos with Santa and one of his reindeer and more.
