You know Glenwood Springs for its famous attractions (a la Hanging Lake, Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, and Glenwood Caverns), but did you know that this gorgeous mountain town is also home to some must-see hidden gems? For one little-known gem that is not only a must-see but also incredibly relaxing, we recommend visiting the Iron Mountain Hot Springs.

“Relax, restore, rejuvenate,” invites Iron Mountain Hot Springs, which is located alongside the Colorado River and surrounded by a picture-perfect Rocky Mountain landscape.

Boasting 16 geothermal soaking pools, guests of the Iron Mountain Hot Springs are sure to find their perfect pool, thanks to various temperatures, views, sizes, and shapes.

When we say that there is a pool for every age and preference, we mean it, as some of the springs feature a romantic heart shape while others are designed for reflexology with a pebble-lined bottom.

In addition to the relaxing aspect of the hot springs, Iron Mountain’s pools are said to contain 14 minerals that are proven to make your body and mind feel even more at ease.
