Joe Biden and nearly all of Colorado’s Democratic congressional delegation have gone into hiding since Kabul fell and the Taliban seized control of Afghanistan following America’s botched and disgraceful exit.
In the “next few days”? @JoeBiden’s gotta finish his vacation first. #Afghanistan #AWOL #copolitics https://t.co/tkfRtba605

Afghanistan has fallen to the Taliban.
Joe Biden has no public events today and is still on vacation.
Disgraceful and weak.

The entire delegation, with the exception of Crow, has so far refused to even acknowledge anything unusual happened over the weekend.
U.S. Sen. John Hickenlooper hasn’t been seen since last week, when he was reminiscing on Twitter about eating cold pizza as he negotiated a trillion dollars of so-called infrastructure spending that did not include the Interstate 70 mess in Glenwood Canyon.
U.S. Sen. Bennet is still bragging today about his successful plan to put more Americans on welfare. No mention of Saigon on steroids and the desperate rush to flee Afghanistan.
U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette was last seen talking about the plight of Afghani women climate change last week.
U.S. Rep. Joe Neguse was busy with Social Security tweets.
U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter is bragging about his assignment on a new panel called the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress to foster civility in Congress. The first lesson seems to be ignore the problem until it goes away.
And then there’s Crow, bless his heart.
He’s a veteran who actually served in Afghanistan so he was the lone Democrat offering sympathy or constructive advice during the fall, urging the military to focus their efforts on securing the airport.
My heart has broken. Like most vets, I left part of me in AFG. Later we’ll debate the failures of last 20 yrs, but today our mission is clear: hold the airport as long as possible and get ALL U.S. citizens and as many Afghan partners out as we can. We will debate the rest later

… it’s already time to debate the rest.
Biden will be remembered for many failures, but this one will live in infamy.
It’s almost like he believes what he is saying.
Meanwhile, U.S. Rep. Ken Buck and his staff are busy helping Americans who were left behind.

And of course, U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert also weighed in:
