The famous burger chain In-N-Out will be adding yet another location to its Colorado enterprise Monday, this time in Lone Tree.

The new Lone Tree location, first announced late last year, is set to open at 10 a.m. Monday morning at 9171 W. Westview Rd., right outside of the Park Meadows mall.

This is the third In-N-Out to open in Colorado since November 2020, with two others located in Aurora and Colorado Springs.

When the Aurora location opened its doors, customers waited in line for up to 14 hours to get their hands on a double-double animal style. The frenzy resulted in police intervention and traffic backed onto a nearby highway.

However, Lone Tree has been preparing for this opening for months.

“The City worked with In-N-Out to establish an opening day traffic plan that would mitigate impact to local businesses and ensure a safe and manageable traffic flow,” the city said on its website.

The city has also hosted several public input meetings with nearby property owners and established special criteria for opening day traffic plans.

On opening day, Lone Tree officials ask In-N-Out customers to get off of Interstate 25 at County Line Road and turn on Yosemite Street to get in line. Signs will be posted around the area to help direct traffic.

Officials expect a busy opening day, designing the drive-thru to accommodate 26 cars at a time.

The restaurant also has a covered patio for outdoor seating for 20 guests and indoor seating for 74 guests; however, onsite dining is not currently available.

Robert Dumont, an In-N-Out veteran of 18 years, is managing the Lone Tree location. The restaurant will employ approximately 80 employees with a starting wage of $14.50 per hour.

In-N-Out has at least six other Colorado locations in the works for Denver, Fort Collins, Lakewood, Thornton, Castle Rock and a second branch in Colorado Springs. Opening dates haven’t been released for any of the other locations.
