What will the course be like, hour by hour?
This is the forecast the start-line apps can't give you: conditions at each landmark along the race corridor, at its own elevation, for every hour the course is open. The Run is open for 30 hours; a town forecast for "Saturday" tells you nothing about Hope Pass at 2 AM Sunday. Read a row to follow one place through the race; read a column to see the whole course at one moment.
How to read it
Cell shading tracks temperature (blue cold, orange warm). A droplet marks hours with 40 percent or higher precipitation odds; the number below the temp is the gust forecast when 25 mph or more. Waypoints are approximate corridor landmarks used for weather modeling at the correct elevations; they are not official course data, and the 2026 courses were revised around the Willow Fire area, so confirm routing against the official course maps: Leadville Trail 100 Run and Leadville Trail 100 MTB. Forecast quality degrades beyond about a week out; the matrix sharpens every day as the race approaches. Pair it with the 16-year race-weekend history and the live dashboard.
